Amanda Cantin: Feathered Omens, Blue Light
Feathered Omens, Blue Light: An exhibition by Amanda Cantin, hosted by Studio Hue 53
Amanda Cantin invites viewers into a world shaped by her travels through the Wyoming mountains and her deep connection to nature. Her paintings and assemblage-based installations capture quiet, suspended moments and symbols that resonate on a profoundly human level. At the same time, her surreal compositions open portals into enigmatic, imagined realms—where memory, landscape, and intuition intertwine. Travel played a key role in shaping Cantin’s vision, broadening her perspective and enriching this latest concept.
Through this experience, she invites you to these dreamscapes to share in the beauty and vulnerability of stepping into the unknown.
Becoming A Plant
Becoming A Plant invites artists to explore transformation beyond the human—into rooted, slow, and interconnected forms of life. It asks you to imagine shifts in perception, time, and being: from movement to stillness, individuality to interdependence, and voice to silent growth.
How might we inhabit plant logic—to root, stretch, wither, and bloom?
Exhibition Dates: July 18th, 2026 - August 1st, 2026
Feathered Omens, Blue Light
A Solo-Exhibition by Amanda Cantin, Hosted by Studio Hue 53
Amanda Cantin invites viewers into a world shaped by her travels through the Wyoming mountains and her deep connection to nature. Her paintings and assemblage-based installations capture quiet, suspended moments and symbols that resonate on a profoundly human level. At the same time, her surreal compositions open portals into enigmatic, imagined realms—where memory, landscape, and intuition intertwine. Travel played a key role in shaping Cantin’s vision, broadening her perspective and enriching this latest concept.
On her trip to Wyoming, Amanda Cantin immersed herself in the rhythms of the mountains and culture, embracing the vastness and spirit of the American West. What began as a childhood dream—to witness wild horses and live among them in the open wilderness—soon unfolded into something deeper. Each day revealed new layers of meaning, sparking fresh ideas and interpretations shaped by the land and its quiet power.
Traveling solo, she encountered not only new places and people, but also parts of herself she had yet to discover. It became an emotional journey—one of reflection, growth, and the courage to pursue long-held dreams. It was a journey defined by, both, hardship and pleasure. Through this experience, she invites you to these dreamscapes to share in the beauty and vulnerability of stepping into the unknown.

Origins & Explorations
A Student Art Exhibition at Studio Hue 53
Exhibition Overview
Origins & Explorations highlights the developing artistic voices of Studio Hue 53’s students. This exhibition showcases the interests, skills, and creative curiosity that shape each student’s work today.
Through drawing, painting, collage, textiles, and mixed media, students present pieces that reflect what they enjoy, what inspires them, and the techniques they’ve been exploring in class. From bold experiments to refined craftsmanship, the exhibition celebrates growth, practice, and personal expression.
Rather than focusing on where creativity began, this show shines a light on what students are discovering now—their unique styles, passions, and expanding abilities.
