Costume Portrait Swap: Halloween Edition
October 24 | 7–10 PM
Come dressed in costume for a Halloween night of fast-paced portrait drawing, creativity, and a little chaos!
Participants will sit across from one another and begin by drawing the costumed person in front of them. When the timer goes off, everyone moves to a new seat, with each side of the table rotating in the opposite direction.
Your artwork travels with you! At every new seat, simply turn your page and begin a new portrait of the person now sitting across from you. With every rotation, your page will fill with different faces, costumes, expressions, and characters, eventually becoming one wonderfully strange Halloween composition.
No portrait or drawing experience is necessary. The goal is to have fun, meet new people, experiment with portraiture, and embrace the unexpected results.
Materials will be provided, but participants are also welcome to bring their own favorite drawing or painting supplies.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
Come in costume and get ready to draw, pose, rotate, and repeat!
