Symbols, Archetypes & Creative Interpretation

Explore the imagery and symbolism of tarot through the art of collage.

In this workshop, we will explore six tarot cards and the traditional themes and meanings associated with each one. Participants will choose a card and create their own collage interpretation using imagery, color, texture, and symbolism.

The Moon
Intuition, dreams, mystery, the subconscious, and the unknown

Death
Transformation, endings, change, transition, and new beginnings

The High Priestess
Intuition, inner wisdom, hidden knowledge, and reflection

The Hermit
Introspection, solitude, guidance, wisdom, and self discovery

The Magician
Creativity, action, possibility, resourcefulness, and personal power

The Empress
Abundance, creativity, nature, growth, beauty, and nurturing

Rather than recreating traditional tarot imagery, you will be encouraged to interpret your chosen card in your own way. What does transformation look like to you? How would you visualize intuition, abundance, mystery, or creativity?

Using collage materials, we will experiment with composition, layering, color, texture, and visual storytelling to create a completely original tarot inspired artwork.

What's Included

All art materials will be provided.

Light refreshments and bites will be served throughout the evening.

No tarot knowledge or art experience is necessary. Come ready to create, experiment, and discover your own interpretation of the cards.
