This workshop blends guided instruction with self-paced practice, offering a thoughtfully curated studio experience designed to deepen your artistic practice. Together, we’ll explore gesture, proportion, structure, and light through a combination of short and extended poses with a live model in a focused, studio-style setting.
Inspired by Pierre-Auguste Cot’s Springtime—a romantic oil painting of two young lovers on a tree swing—we’ll draw from its sense of movement, intimacy, and emotion. The piece beautifully captures the young woman’s face, completely enthralled by her partner, inviting us to study connection, softness, and expression in figure work.
Open to both beginners and experienced artists.
Materials are provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own sketchbook and water bottle.
This is a curated creative experience with limited seating. RSVP/sign-up is required to reserve your spot.
